What We Offer

  • Voice Lessons

    Join us for small, FREE voice classes for elementary and middle school children in the Syracuse area! We offer classe Mondays from 3-3:45pm or 3:45-4:30pm at the Mundy Library (1204 S Geddes St, Syracuse, NY 13204).

  • Become A Teacher

    Are you passionate about teaching, music, accessibility, and doing good? Register to become a teacher for the Let’s Play Program! We are open to all instruments. Click the button below to sign up and find more information.

  • Instrument Lessons

    This program is scholarship-based and provides lessons for children 10+ who would otherwise not have the opportunity for a private lesson. Come experience the joys of music and play with us! See below for scheduling.

Meet Our Staff

  • Leeya Abraham

    PRORAM COORDINATOR/VOICE COACH

    Hi! My name is Leeya! I am the program coordinator for Let’s Play, and I teach voice at Mundy Library as an intern of the ArtHouse Collective. I love listening to folk and indie music, and singing classical arias and art songs! I love working with kids, and have loved getting to teach music to children of all ages at Mundy!

  • Sean Alvaro

    PIANO TEACHER

    Hi, I’m Sean! I have been playing piano and trombone since childhood. I have taught beginner piano and brass lessons since 2021, I love sharing my enthusiasm and dedication with local students! I study Music Education at Syracuse University, where I’m also associate principal trombone player for their Orchestra and Wind Ensemble.

    GUITAR TEACHER

    Hi, I’m Jesse! I’m a guitar player and a senior in the Bandier Program at Syracuse University, and I teach guitar lessons at the Mundy Library. I’m from Connecticut and I love listening to Phish and Stevie Wonder!

  • Aaliyah Thom

    GUITAR TEACHING ASSISTANT

    Hi, I'm Aaliyah! I'm a Sound Recording Technology major at SU and I'm the assistant teacher for guitar lessons at Mundy Library. Some of my favorite genres are indie, R&B, and folk. I've really enjoyed working with the kids so far, and I'm excited to continue being involved with Let's Play and CrossRoads!
